Well let's start with the bad stuff and then we'll get to the good stuff. Peach pie was a wash I wasn't excited about it the Shrimp Basket was tough the batter either the batter or they cooked it too long. French fries were fresh they had skin on them so you had your vitamins and it was a little greasy but the fries tasted pretty good. The broccoli salad was okay I just don't like bacon so that was a wash too. Not too many great vegetables available looks like most of the fried food and salads there was Cobb and chef salad and such that was there and available. However they need to label the ingredients on a cob and chef salad as to what they put into it so people know the difference. So we need Chef Ramsay there to straighten them out. So maybe some other meal might be better I'm not sure. The waitress and staff were very friendly and courteous and helpful. The place looked a little bit run down and the toilet seat needs replaced as it's worn pretty bad. So a small hole in the wall restaurant that I probably wouldn't go back to except for they were very friendly people there.

Service was great until a 6 person group came in after my wife n I and kitchen was more concerned with getting their food ready than ours. Maybe they called ahead IDK but waitress brought my burger n fries out, wife's chicken salad 10 minutes later. Burger was good. Salad was decent except for undercooked french fries n sparse amount of cheese. Couldnt tell the waitress cause she never came back to check on us.... more concerned with the 6top.

This is a fantastic little place to enjoy a meal or catch up with a friend. There is something about this place that makes you linger and enjoy the time and food. It is locally owned and has fresh quality offerings with daily specials.

Decided to give this place another chance, and all I can say is it got so much worse, never have I seen a kitchen and waitresses in such unorganized as today! Our appetizers all came out at different times, I was receiving my dinner plate while everyone else was only getting their salads and mozzarella sticks. Disfunctional kitchen ever!! Two horrible experiences years apart! Won't come back here again!

I wanted to give more stars because the food is always good, the waitresses are friendly, and the restaurant decor is nice and the off street parking is a big plus, however, every single time we go, our food comes out randomly at different times. For example, my mother sat and watched me eat for 7 minutes before her food came out. Time before that, I sat and watched my dad eat while I had nothing in front of me. When I look around at other tables, everyone is watching someone else eat for a long time before their own food finally arrives. I sure wish the cooks would time their meal prep so that I can eat with my parents instead of after or before them. It really drives me crazy and makes me want to stop eating here.

My husband and I went for dinner and put our order in before a table of 7. We waited over 45 minutes and never got our food except for my husband's one side. The big table started getting their entrees before us. We left money on the table for the side and walked out! Terrible terrible service and too many takeout orders backed up the service for the seated customers. Won't be going back EVER!

We stopped in on a day when I think they were understaffed and ended up having issues with multiple of our orders. But otherwise the staff were friendly, the food was fantastic, and the prices were good.
